Gurubhyo namah!
When I often come across rare yogas, it makes me wonder about their reason for being rare and what it portends for that native.
Maybe the rarer is more important than the common as our Guruji always reckons in many classes.
I came across this yoga called Vidyut Yoga when analyzing a chart and I must say it was giving the native whatever was promised by the yoga.
Vidyut Yoga can make one
charitable
pleasure-loving
controller of wealth (treasury keeper)
Royal or King-like.
Of course, the dasha dynamics too must be supportive, which is a reasonable claim in explaining most of the yogas' non-performance.
The definition for the formation of Vidyut Yoga is as follows:
Vidyut Yoga is formed when the 11th lord is in (deep) exaltation, and Venus is in Kendra from the Lagna.
Explanation in detail
Lord of the 11th house must be in deep exaltation and must join Venus in 1,4,7 or 10th from Lagna Lord (Asc lord).
The potential of this Yoga in terms of impact and quality will depend on the
actual strength of the participating grahas.
and if there are other yogas formed by these same grahas,
then we can be sure that the results will be prominent.
Venus is for pleasure, comfort, and luxury.
Lord of 11 shows gains.
Lagna Lord is the native himself.
Let us see in the sample chart of Queen Elizabeth II.
Can you spot other Yogas in the chart?
I will post additional example charts (and would love to hear from you).
