We all know planets that we see in the sky are the referrals from the outer plane for divine astrological guidance, but lesser we acknowledge that they act from within us.
Just like how we use the word planet when it’s Graha.
The literal Sanskrit translation of the word Graha is to hold.
We can now say that Grahas hold patterns from our past journeys, and they are the ones that maintain the record of the soul’s learnings, achievements, mistakes, or broadly can say deeds, known as karma.
Our decisions, our natural tendencies, the scripts we follow, and every choice we make certainly show how each Graha is enacting from within us because of our karma.
For instance, if shortcuts were taken in previous births to complete a task, and in the present birth when given a choice, a person chooses to take a shortcut without giving it too much thought, it’s like this action is imbued in the system, coming out like autopilot mode, carried forward from previous lives.
Grahas are the ones that hold these patterns.
Looking up to astrology is seeking divine guidance to understand what each Graha is holding, what are they showing, and where we need to work upon in this life.
Once we acknowledge this, the next step is agreeing that this life has been given to redo something, make a completely different choice, take the progress to another level... or maybe start all over again.
How..?
Time and again when you encounter a challenge or a problem, stop, go inside, think of what you are about to do, and ask how can do it differently.
Let’s take an example, say the divine eye of Vedas, Jyotish, is showing that the relationship with children/spouse/parent will be painful in this lifetime.
We not only know now that we are given this as a challenge, but we also accept that we need to work on this.
We will offer prayers as per the guidance received, and we will have to work upon them as a remedy too.
Remember, Grahas are acting from within us, and they hold ways we dealt with it in prior lives, and maybe we are given this challenge as a test so we can figure out how to deal with it in a better way in this lifetime.
For example, when stuck in a situation of constant conflict, hence are deeply saddened, and the first thought that impulsive response is to use alcohol to numb it out, then today don’t.
Or the first thought is to yell, then today, don’t.
Or the first thought is to exert power, then today don’t.
We all have a new life to choose the better script wisely, with some introspection, because as it is struggles are indicating repercussions from past lives, and we need to perform better as a remedy, along with prayers for a holistic approach to healing and growing.
